நெருக்கடி மிகுந்த இந்நேரத்தில், உக்ரைனில் சிக்கியுள்ள நமது மாணவர்கள் தம்மைத் தாமே பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டிய நிலையில் தவிக்க விடப்பட்டுள்ளதாக வரும் செய்திகள் வேதனையளிக்கின்றன. போர்த் தாக்குதல்களையும் எல்லைப்பகுதிகளில் எதிர்ப்பையும் நமது மாணவர்கள் சந்தித்து வரும் வேளையில், ஒன்றிய அரசு அவர்களைக் குற்றங்கூறுவதை நிறுத்திக்கொண்டு, அவர்களை விரைவாக மீட்பதில் கவனம் செலுத்தவேண்டும்.
இந்தியக் கடவுச்சீட்டைப் பெற்றுள்ள இந்தியக் குடிமக்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் பாதுகாக்க வேண்டியது இந்திய அரசின் பொறுப்பாகும். மாண்புமிகு பிரதமர் அவர்கள், தமது அமைச்சரவையைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் தேவையற்ற கருத்துகளை வெளியிடுவதைத் தடுத்து; இந்தியர்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
Saddened by the news coming from Ukraine that our students have been left to their own devices at this critical hour. While students face war attacks and hostile borders, the Union Government should stop blaming on students & focus on evacuating them to safety.
It is the responsibility of the Indian Government to safeguard the life of every Indian passport holder. PMO India should reign in their Ministers from issuing unwarranted statements and put in their efforts for evacuating every Indian safely.
